Well election night is here, and now we all wait for the results. I was just watching Chuck Todd doing his little summation of the results and was saying he didn’t believe that it was going to be a red tsunami. And of course you would expect anything any different for the legacy media. And of course, MSNBC analyst ‘can’t say’ Georgia election is ‘fair and equitable’, wow, and Republican candidates in Arizona, RNC sue after problems at voting locations and Michigan officials say everyone was able to vote in Detroit after ‘harmless data error’. These headlines sure are telling us the crap has yet to hit the fan.
Of course we can expect to see challenges from both sides before it is all said and done, and to me that is a true shame. You know it seems funny and in the 60’s and 70’s we could vote and have them counted, and results known by midnight. I can remember sitting up late into the night watching one of the 3 channels we got. Now in the age of high tech crap, the White House mouth piece, the queen of word salad is already are saying it might be days, or even weeks before we know the outcome. So I say to myself, ‘Self, what does that mean? Does it mean if the Blue canidate is behind that it is time to back the truck up with another load of “early votes”?, to make sure the blue wins?’. I hope that is not the case. what does scare me is if election results are challenged by EITHER side, it will place a cloud over the voting and counting process, which will be bad for both sides of the aisle.
Well only time will tell now, if you voted, you can be proud.
Today Was a Blessing And Tomorrow Is A New Day
Make America Great Again
Well Mark I couldn’t agree with you more. Today I woke up in disbelief, just as I did when Obama won his second term. Udder shock and confused at the posted results. Some red wave…I would call last night a ripple! Looks like we will barely take the house and we may loose a seat in the senate. At this point I’m really starting to think we may never overcome this radical agenda, and the hope of returning to conservative ideas and policies is just wishful thinking. All I can say is, if this current mess our country is in right now isn’t a warning sign, then I don’t know what catastrophe will convince people to take action and vote the current policy makers out of office and replace them with conservatives.
Greatly disappointed! That’s all I can say for now. More later on who will lead the Republican Party into the future and WIN.
Sadly, after obsorbing the results of this latest 2022 midterm election I have ask myself, why? Was it a lack of enthusiasm, or was it that the current condition of our economy, and state of affairs, is not yet bad enough to convince people to vote the current policy makers out of office. If the election results are true, is Trump no longer a force for people to get behind? If that is true, is it time for us to look to someone else in the future. I love the guy for what he has done in the past, what he stands for, and his business foresight, however, it seems his personality is too much to overcome for a-lot of voters, which means, if we are going to save this republic, maybe it’s time for us to make a change? A majority of the vote, I believe, was a vote against Trump more so than a vote for the Democrat candidate. As much as I love President Trump, I would rather loose the battle but win the war.
I haven’t had time to study the demographics of this last election, however, I assume our losses largely are states with high population concentration in large cities and metropolitan areas that are trending,as usual, to the Democratic ticket. Everybody wants a hand out! This trend seems to be gaining momentum. Increase in population change via illegal immigration. The change in population age from older conservatives to younger socialists who have been, in my opinion, brainwashed throughout their lives by the Democratic Party and the education system we currently have. Thirdly, there’s a lot of people who just cannot look forward to the Republican party with former President Trump at the helm. Those are huge hurdles to overcome. One we can change relatively quickly, the other two may take a generation or two to fix. I think those are three concerns that we need to overcome as we move forward. I’m not sure it is possible. I think America is believing the fake news and the fake future the democrats are painting. They are falling for it. Our nation is losing his conservative values, and that is a sad realization. We were a strong God fearing America. Based on what this midterm election is proving out, we are on the cusp of becoming like all the other socialist nations. We have had strength in the past and led the world in almost every aspect. I believe now we’re headed towards the future of a second class state. Less free and weak. I myself could not feel comfortable in a country like that. Something that is so dramatically different from when I was younger and what I took for granted as an adult. Is it too late to turn things around? I wonder if it is possible anymore
.
Looking forward, seeing the results of this past election, do we need, as conservatives, to somehow cope and live with the trending agendas? The trending economy? The thought of America being a second class militarily and economy? That is what it seems may be a reality sometime soon. The younger generation and new influx of immigrants are soon to become the majority voter. One must wonder how the balance of power has shifted in such a short period of time. It amazes me how much the population mix has changed. How much society has lost their faith in God. Everything seems to be going south and we quietly let it slip through our fingers. Future Historians will wonder how the greatest country in the history of the world lost its way.
